The former MC candidate in Guanajuato, Adolfo Villegas Villegas, reported the disappearance of Raúl Irán Villarreal, director of the Citizen Observatory of San Luis de la Paz, on his personal Facebook account. According to initial reports, the kidnapping is said to have occurred around 9:00 PM, causing shock among the neighbors of the Lomas de La Paz neighborhood.
The Citizens' Movement party demanded the activation of the Protocol against Crimes Against Freedom of Expression in the case of Villarreal Belmont.
